To be really honest, the book was really erotic! hehe..every little detail of it. Nonetheless, it was entertaining. Got me through the long hours of travel, bus-mrt, etcInteresting how the author can put himself in to a character of a woman and even dwell in to their sexuality. I think you have to be so sensitive to know that., though he admitted he got some help about that. But one thing I didnt like is how he had one character that is said to be a Filipina but the name he had chose for her was terribly un-Filipina. "Nyah", how's that? it sounds oriental but definitely not "filipinish" (excuse me for the term). It was quite disappointing, i think he lacked some research for that.
Aside from that I think the ending was so rash, that it had only took him a paragraph to finish the story. Whoa,..what was that. Some readers I think would actually say, like i did, "that's it", "come again?", "yun na yun? ok".. hehe.. Im not being rude with the novel but I really hate those stories of which the ending always appeared to be unprepared and not properly handled. I mean, in writing a story, one should always think of ending them majestically. Who would want to read a thick book and finding it shallow in the end, right? A much better endng would be nice, it would make the reader feel that the time they spent reading was worth the while.
